German term
das bilanzierende Unternehmen
German to English
Bus/Financial
Accounting
...Ausleihungen gegenüber Unternehmen, an denen das bilanzierende Unternehmen beteiligt ist, als auch Ausleihungen gegenüber Unternehmen, die am bilanzierenden Unternehmen beteiligt sind.
I cannot find a better translation than "company drawing up a balance sheet" which seems too long. Is there a better, more concise translation out there?

the reporting company
would certainly work. And I would be very leery of using the words "balance sheet" when translating "bilanzieren" as it normally denotes "accounting" - far more than simply drawing up a balance sheet. You could also use "the accounting company/company rendering the accounts" here, but I think reporting works just fine. (IMHO)
