I have the term "Fließstrecken im Gegenlauf" and cannot find any refrerences in the Net for this.
Durch das eingesetzte Produktionsverfahren “flow forming”, auch “Fließstrecken im Gegenlauf” genannt, wird zum Beispiel aus....
Is "Flow Forming" the correct translation or is this just another way of production?

Den Langenscheidt-Entry "flow forming <prod> Abstreckfließdrücken" konnte ich nicht unbedingt verifizieren, obwohl dieses schöne "fließen" enthalten ist.
Wenn schon "im Gegenlauf", dann wäre hier allerdings auch "reverse flow forming" angebracht.
Fazit: Alles unwichtig, weil es im Englischen flow forming heißt und eindeutig zugeordnet werden kann und keinen weiteren Beinamen benötigt.
Manchmal ist weniger einfach mehr ;-)
