total magnetism: the new version Explanation: Whoever wrote this (obviously not someone at Yves Saint Laurent) has a poor grasp of grammar and punctuation. Several words are spelt with lowercase first letters instead of uppercase, and vice versa. There should be a colon after "magnetico", or "Potere magnetico" could be written in bold. The eau de toilette is a new version of an existing fragrance, Black Opium (though not that new, since it was launched two years ago): "After EDP (eau de parfum) Black Opium, presented a year ago, the house of Yves Saint Laurent will introduce a new edition, Black Opium Eau de Toilette, at the end of August 2015". http://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Yves-Saint-Laurent/Black-... I put "total magnetism" because I thought "magnetic power" sounded a bit bland, but that's just my opinion. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 27 mins (2017-11-04 16:30:03 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- So, just to be clear (because the Italian isn't): "The latest edition of YSL's celebrated Black Opium fragrance is an eau de toilette". |
