It seems to refer in some way to the map projection. The Gauss-Boaga projection is a type of cylindrical projection (transverse Mercator) which is predominantly used in Italy. The Italian definition of parametratura is "Sistema di riferimento cartografico costituito da reticolo ortogonale di rette equidistanti." but I haven't found a single, concise English word or phrase to use for it.
