Il problema principale della forma analizzata concerne la connessione galleria superiore � pozzo ed in particolare la plasticizzazione di tutti gli spigoli che emerge non appena si guarda la forma proposta. Un possibile rimedio a questo problema potrebbe essere mantenere lo scavo del fondo della galleria superiore alcuni metri sopra la quota effettiva e da l� iniziare lo scavo del pozzo in modo da detensionare in modo importante un volume di roccia che sar� successivamente eliminato una volta completato lo scavo del fondo galleria. In questo modo lasciamo deformare (e rompere) in via preventiva un volume di cui non abbiamo pi� bisogno, mantenendo il pi� possibile in campo elastico il contorno della roccia che dovr� invece sostenere il pozzo.
Per facilitare la deformazione dell�anello di roccia al contatto tra i due volumi si pu� adoperareo un doppio ordine di tiranti: inizialmente si adottano tiranti corti che permettono allo strato pi� superficiale dell�anello di deformarsi, poi a deformazione avvenuta si impiegano tiranti lunghi che consentono di ancorare l�anello all�ammasso circostante.
