OK. Mauro. You didn't ask specifically for Portuguese colleagues on this 'non-adverb' question - quaere: if they would be familiar with the term of regd. dealings common in UK & Oz and I did find in Novo Dicionario Aurelio, Rio de Janeiro, registo as a 'Brazilian' variation on registro.
While (land) registration was not compulsory, the advantages were soon recognised and so began the system of registration and indexing of registered dealings still in use today.
