neutral Ciprian Patrascu : "vessicular breath sounds" is used as such in the same link you indicated for the other kudoz, http://medicine.ucsd.edu/clinicalmed/lung.htm. Aside from this, Merriam Webster's medical dict. 1995 -"soft & low-pitched sounds of the normal breathing

Hi Ciprian. I know what the dictionary says-- I was just giving Andreea my view as an MD with 12 years exp. in US hospitals -- we just don't say/write "ves(s)icular" to report our findings during pulmonary auscultation. Regards
