When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

deed of gift
A deed of gift is a signed legal document that voluntarily and without recompense transfers ownership of real, personal, or intellectual property – such as a gift of materials – from one person or institution to another. It should include any possible conditions specifying access, use, preservation, etc. of the gift, although these are generally discouraged by recipient institutions.

Public Instrument of Gift (AmE)
I stand corrected, but Deed in the USA would connote a gift of land - whereas a Gift Deed does seem to include money - that would overlap in the UK with a tax-efficient Deed of Covenant : cut to our accountants.
'Definition: instrument of gift means any instrument whereby transfer of certain existing movable or immovable property is made voluntarily and without consideration, by one person called the donor, to another called the donee, and accepted by or on behalf of the donee.'
A public instrument is any legal instrument (legal document) recorded with and authenticated by a public officer or employee.
USA: A Gift Deed is a document used to give a sum of money or to transfer ownership of property from one person or organization to another.

The narrative reads 'escritura pública' and changes the emphasis.

: Creo que se trata simplemente de un "Gift inter vivos" y me parece que escritura pública aquí indica que es ante notario y que no hay que buscarle más patas al gato. Saludos.

The narrative reads 'escritura pública' and changes the emphasis of any notarially certifiable answer.. Deed under seal would not have been enough for our inhouse City notaries.
