Niegdyś największy oportunista dla magii, czarów, zbiegów okoliczności, fatum, trele-morele, kwestionujący przesądy, woodoo, zjawiska paranormalne, przeznaczenia, a nawet intuicję. Kilkunastoletnie doświadczenie w IT ukształtowane i oparte na zapisie 010101001 oraz umiłowaniu logiki i nauk ścisłych. Nie ma mowy o szczęściu z króliczą łapką, wróżbitach, kosmitach lub karmie.
Litości !!!.....
Odkąd pamiętam było to dla mnie wielkie, zbiorcze szambo pod tytułem „zabobony”, tożsame z wiejską chatą. Szyderczo wrzucałem tam hurtem przez lata wszelkie herezje, na równi z ich głosicielami, zamykając szczelną pokrywą, aby nie wylazło.
Rok później………….
Wracałem pociągiem z delegacji. Prawdopodobnie jedna z wielu konferencji o cyberbezpieczeństwie - nie pamiętam. W pociągu spotkał mnie kolejny, coraz częściej doświadczany, nieprawdopodobny zbieg okoliczności w postaci… człowieka. To już drugie spotkanie w tym roku z osobą, którą podejrzewam o uduchowienie, oscylujące z bóstwem.

Once one of the fiercest opponents of magic, sorcery, coincidences, fate and all that fiddle-faddle, questioning all superstitions, voodoo, paranormal phenomena, destiny and even intuition. Ever since I can remember, all that was one big sump dubbed ‘old wives’ tales’ and smelt of backward gentry. There I threw all heresies as well as their preachers and secured it all with a tight lid to prevent it from crawling out.
One year later...
I was going home from a business trip by train. It had probably been one of those cybersecurity conferences – I don't remember exactly. In the train, I encountered another, ever more frequent, improbable coincidence assuming the form of... a human being. It had already been my second face time with a person I suspected of spirituality leaning towards divinity.
To put it bluntly – it must have been an angel, for fuck’s sake!

Source text - Polish Nie odkryje Ameryki, gdy napiszę, że kawa jest jednym z najczęściej spożywanych napojów na świecie. Wielu ludzi jednak zadaje sobie pytanie, czy picie kawy jest zdrowe? Wokół konsumpcji kawy narosło wiele mitów, a ja bardzo lubię rozprawiać się z mitami.
Informacje, którymi się z Tobą podzielę, zostały zaczerpnięte z kliku źródeł. Są to zazwyczaj opracowanie w języku angielskim dostępne w Internecie. Dużo informacji uzyskałem także z podcastu Plant Proof. Polecam bardzo ten odcinek, będący zapisem rozmowy pomiędzy Simon’em Hill i Danny’m Lennon. Obaj panowie są dyplomowanymi żywieniowcami.
Zanim przejdę do próby odpowiedzenia na pytanie: „czy kawa jest zdrowa?”, to zacznę od kilku drobnostek.
Ciekawostki związane z kawą
• tylko 3 kraje odpowiadają za 65% światowej konsumpcji kawy.
• jedynym napojem bardziej popularnym niż kawa jest woda.
• kawa jest drugim najpopularniejszym surowcem handlowym na świecie, zaraz po ropie.
• średnie dzienne zużycie kawy na głowę to 3 filiżanki.
• najwięcej kawy (w ciągu roku) pije się w krajach skandynawskich: Finlandia (12 kg na osobę), Norwegia (9.9 kg na osobę), Islandia (9 kg na osobę), Dania (8.7 kg na osobę).

Translation - English I won't be original when I say that coffee is one of the most frequently drunk beverages in the world. That being said, many people keep asking themselves whether it’s healthy. There are a lot of myths around coffee consumption and, I'm big on debunking myths.
The information I'm going to share with you was taken from several sources. They mostly include English studies published online. I also obtained a lot of information by listening to the Plant Proof podcast. I strongly recommend the episode with the conversation between Simon Hill and Danny Lennon. Both guys are certified nutritionists.
Before I attempt to answer the question of whether coffee is healthy, I'll feed you some interesting facts.
Fun facts about coffee:
• Only 3 countries account for 65% of the global coffee consumption.
• The only drink more popular than coffee is water.
• Coffee is the second most popular commercial raw material in the world, a runner-up to crude oil.
• The average daily consumption of coffee is 3 cups per person.
• The most coffee (during the year) is drunk in the Scandinavian countries: Finland (12 kg per person), Norway (9.9 kg per person), Iceland (9 kg per person) and Denmark (8.7 kg per person).
• Contrary to popular belief, espresso has only one-third of the caffeine found in a regular cup of coffee, because of its size.
