(and he himself madly in love with his new bride), 2020 was supposed to be the year that he toured the world and got to reach out and touch his fans IRL.
“We started releasing music, and then our main focus was my first album [Por Primera Vez], and we released it right when the pandemic started,” Camilo says, recounting his disappointment at the time.
“We were like, ‘What's going to happen?’
Our expectations were to release the album and start traveling everywhere to connect with the people but when the pandemic started we were like, “That's it, we're done.
This album is not going to connect [with the people] . .
.”
Despite not being able to tour, Camilo’s debut album had all of the success he and his team had hoped for and more as his song “Favorito” was a runaway hit and his collaborations with Ozuna (“Despeinada”) and Rauw Alejandro (“Tattoo - Remix”) only added to his momentum.
