About the company

We are a young Yango service, providing logistics for small and medium-sized businesses. We also help people send forgotten keys and homemade pies.
We want delivery to be as convenient as booking a taxi or ordering food.
We continue to scale year over year, launching new products and entering new regions almost every month. We operate in 20+ countries across 4 continents..

About the team

The Localization team helps our users around the world to access Delivery services in their native language. We are currently localizing various marketing materials and product (website and apps). We have an app for couriers and another one for customers, and a website for corporate clients. The products are quite different, the audiences are different too, so it will be fun and diverse localization experience.

What you’ll do
We are looking for a translator and an editor having the background in IT/marketing/logistics localization for long-term collaboration.

- Hold expertise in the local language and culture to ensure that our materials adequacy for the UAE and Oman markets
- Edit various marketing materials (banners, ads, SMM posts, emails, scripts, landing pages and push notifications)
- Edit user interface texts (app/website/etc.)
- Proofread of finished materials

What you’ll need

- Experience in working with marketing communications and UX/UI texts background
- Experience in working with IT products
- Knowledge of CAT tools (SmartCat, etc.)
- Native speaker (having a recognised graduate qualification and/or a certificate will be a plus)

What you’ll get

- Part-time, freelance contract;
- Payments in accordance with your rate via SmartCat;
