Over the years many people have relied on my excellent linguistic skills: I have completed several translations and accepted proofreading assignments whenever the opportunity arose - but, in general, I have been a compulsive proofreader for as long as I can remember. I will guarantee attention to detail, hard work, and passion for a high-quality end result.
I have a very good written and spoken knowledge of both English and French as well as excellent pronunciation. I can read and understand German. I have worked and studied in Brussels from 2007 until 2014, and have lived and worked in a French-speaking environment for a total of five years. My English pre-University - from the age of 14 - was self-taught, and to this day I continue to study the language on my own. I have managed a blog in English for about five years. The 'keen eye for detail' has always been present, and has only improved during my years as a photographer, having to notice and correct the slightest aberrations in colour temperature, and retouch - and sometimes manipulate - images to perfection.
I am punctual, and a very quick learner. In the past I have worked for several years in a corporate environment, of which three at Bull, one of the leading developers of servers and software. Increasingly, I came to play a pivotal role at the company's Belgian headquarters in Brussels, juggling facilities assistance, back-up management assistance, and advanced data management (input and distribution of legal documents), while also being responsible for the reception of calls and general enquiries.
