Bio
I grew up speaking Galician and Spanish natively. My passion for languages led me to choose English, Latin and Old Greek in my high school times. Then, I studied English Philology (BA) and German Philology (BA) and attended French courses, too. Our mother tongues at home are Galician, Spanish and French. I have been working as a translator and as a certified tourist guide for about 20 years. It has allowed me to improve my language skills in many different domains and to get to know many different cultures. Tourism, art, culture, etc. have become my strongest points.
Recently, I completed courses on audiovisual translation and post-editing. I am also involved in some transcription and proofreading projects (mainly, about politics).
I am strongly engaged in sport, mainly cycling and judo. I have practiced judo my entire life, I competed for many years, I am a certified coach and I run a judo club. Thus, I am very familiar with the vocabulary in sport.
