Her passion for translation led her to teach at the State University, Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala and Universidad Mariano Galvez. She has been part of several examination panels for the Ministry of Education for the Certification of Candidates to Sworn Translators. She has written for the School of Linguistics Magazine of Universidad de San Carlos regarding subjects regarding translation. She also participated at Universidad Mariano Galvez‘s ESP Conferences with the theme “New Strategies for Teaching Translation”. Her main interest is in developing better teaching methods on translation and application to what students will find in their daily activities as professionals.
