construction project/proposed building
I'm assuming that this presentation is concerning a proposed/planned construction project, in which case I think construction project is fine, and if you need to refer to the thing that is being constructed, you can call it a proposed building or a proposed facility (more generic).
If it's already underway and they are giving a progress report, I would still call it a construction project, but then if you need to refer to it you could call it the building/facility under construction.
Hope that helps! :)

Строительный объект can certainly be a construction site, but it is often used in a broader sense to refer to a construction project. See, for example, строительный объект in Multitran--not that Multitran is any sort of final authority, but I think the numerous Multitran entries involving the word "project" strengthen the case for the broader translation here. Here are a few more examples grabbed at random from the Web:
"Строительные объекты выполненные компанией СиМК-А" - you can't say "construction sites performed by Company X," you have to say projects.
"Комплексное снабжение строительных объектов: Я представляю компанию "Марпа", которая осуществляет комплексное снабжением строительных объектов материалами по ценам производителя." They are not talking about assembling a site--they are talking about constructing a building--so site won't work here, either.
There are also plenty of examples where "construction site" is more appropriate, of course. I just picked a couple to illustrate that site is not always correct.

Glad I could be of assistance.
One note about Iris' "construction unit"--she mentions that it works in British English, which as a speaker of American English I can't speak to one way or another--but I have not encountered that phrase in this sort of context American English...FWIW.

: I'm not sure this works in the particular context--I think they are probably making a presentation on the project as a whole and not just on the site. But more context would be helpful.

This would be "строительство", "проект", etc.; "строительный объект" is a "site".

Вход на строительный объект разрешен только рабочему персоналу!

неоднократно употребляла этот термин с одобрения англичан - именно в таком варианте его можно "спрягать" во всех ситуациях - так же, как и 'объект' в русском языке
