externalidades

Production and distribution MPIC networks are important, since they can support small producers networks, allow the creation of small and medium companies (PyMES) in rural areas or of low development, and in general promote the economical development of a whole region.. MPIC production and distribution typically occurs with less negative EXTERNAL FACTORS, compared with the traditional production chains, such as an adverse environmental impact.

Discussion

Rosa Elena Lozano Arton (asker) Sep 27, 2008:

external factors | externalities

Both exist, I like adverse/negative external factors, but externalities may well be more appropriate.

externalities

extraneous factors/influences

3 : a secondary or unintended consequence <pollution and other externalities of manufacturing>
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/externality

y justamente estamos hablando de producción y distribución.

My additional 2 cents...

Reference:

Not a solution for "externalidades" I'm afraid, but a note about PyMES - this is usually abbreviated in the UK as "SME" (small and medium sized enterprises) and for the US as SMB (Small and medium sized businesses), although you may want to leave it in the original Spanish. That's up to you.
