Hola, sigo en la sentencia para adopción.
Al final, cuando se habla de lo dispuesto en ciertos artículos aparece la abreviación "inc." ¿qué significa? ¿es inciso o algo diferente? Si es inciso ¿se traduciría como subsection?
"Y en conformidad con lo dispuesto en el artículo 8 letra c, artículo 13 inc. 4º, de la Ley 19.62"

Es cuestión de estilo, traducir con la más absoluta fidelidad al original o elegir el estilo que se utiliza en el idioma a traducir.

Si estás traduciendo legislación chilena o latinoamericana, yo lo traduciría así. Nuestros artículos los puedes traducir sin compunción como "articles". En cambio las "sections" anglosajonas corresponden a nuestros artículos. Nuestras "secciones" suelen ser "chapters" en la legislación anglosajona. Es un poco confusivo.

the Spanish uses inciso (Artículo X, inciso ii)
the English corresponds with (Article X, par. ii)
The correct translation is: Article I, Section II. The term subsection can be used only when the referenced text is devided in sections (eg. article I, section II, subsection A. So basically, you need to look at your source and see how it is devided. As for the suggested "par.", I assume that they are referring to word "paragraph", which is not the correct equivalent for inciso (by the way "parenthesis" would make no sense either).

Bueno, gracias a Taña descubrí que este "inc. 4º" se refiere al cuarto párrafo del artículo 13. Imagino que podría traducirlo como "paragraph".
