French term or phrase: aspect frondeur
I know frondeur means rebel, maverick, troublemaker but what idea they are trying to convey in this context? Any suggestions?

recalcitrant / anti-authority / rebelious

Explanation:
closer to the meaning of "frondeur" that isn't an exact synonym of "révolutionnaire". A "fronde" is an opposition, not a revolution.

"trailblazing" - not terribly literal, but is perhaps good for a marketing article...
