German term

bei Brutto-Preisen über EURO 800,-- einschließlich Verpackung.

German to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Catalogue
"Alle angegebenen Preise sind Brutto-Preise ab Werk Goldenstedt, ***bei Brutto-Preisen über EURO 800,-- einschließlich Verpackung***. Sämtliche Preise verstehen sich in EURO zuzüglich der gesetzlichen Mehrwertsteuer."

From a catalogue for food counters, warmers, refrigerating devices and so forth. I don't understand the sense of "bei" here. Is it saying something like shipping is free if you pay more than 800 Euros? TIA for your help.

not for points...

This would indicate that packing is included if you order more than € 800.00 gross. Unusual pricing, I must admit, but that is what it says and how I would read it.

agree BrigitteHilgner : If you buy less, you have to pay extra for packaging.

with a gross retail price over 800 Euro, including packaging

this is how I would translate, but what they mean I'm not sure!
maybe that if an article costs over 800 Euro then the packaging costs (NOT the shipping costs) are included...?
Peer comment(s):

neutral silfilla : Euro = *euros* in English
