Aad Zwaard is trained as an Anthropologist and now lives in a small village in the mountains of southern Spain. There he is engaged in writing, translating and running a small house rental business.
Aad is fluent in English and received a bachelors training in translating Spanish into Dutch.
Before moving to Spain he worked as a researcher in the field of medium and small sized businesses and as a head of the PR department of a borough in Amsterdam.

He translated two books from English into Dutch:
· Simon Sebag Montefiori, Stalin, the Court of the Red Tsar, Het hof van de rode tsaar (2004, Spectrum)
· Michael Cook, A brief History of the Human Race, De mens 10.000 jaar geschiedenis (2005, Spectrum)

Both from English and Spanish he has translated reports, articles and websites for several NGO´s, for instance:
· Amnesty International
· NOTS
· Homeless Child
· Stichting Chacana
