I arrived in the UK as an Erasmus student in 1995 where i studied organic chemistry at Southampton University. After gaining a BSc (Hons) in chemistry from Southampton University and a "Diplome d'ingénieur" in chemistry from ENSCT (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Toulouse) , i worked 10 years in research in the UK, synthesising novel organic compounds for the crop protection business.
During my time in research i patented 4 novel compounds, used my skills under pressure when i was involved in "fast following" of competitor's patents and was an active member of the robotic team for two years.
In 2005, my family moved to Dorset and i have since been a private french tutor customizing my lessons for all needs, running mother and toddler groups, primary school children clubs and conversation groups for adults as well as GSCE support.
I have just completed the DipTrans course English-French from City University and now wish to utilise my many skills and experiences to produce translations of the highest level. |
