I'm an English women and I've been living in Barcelona since 1992. At the beginning I gave english classes in private academies mainly to children and later on maily to adults, including doctors and medical students.

During this time I did various translations mainly for the doctors and a few of a general nature.

As time went on I decided to change profession and did a six month gardeing course in Catalan, hoping to become a gardener. I have been working as a gardener with Spanish and English clients for the past five years. Again during this time I have done various translations when I have been asked or when I have had time on my hands.

Now I am pregnant and for the time being cannot do half as much gardening as before and would like to take on more translations.

I feel that my time in Barcelona and my teaching experience has stood me in good stead for doing translation work and I enjoy working with language.
