Dear potential clients, agencies and colleagues,

I welcome you all to my newly-created ProZ Account. I am currently in the process of establishing my new business so a link to my website will be available soon.

Multiple internships were undertaken in the following fields: technical document translation,medical interpreting, liasion interpreting for law-assistance & education programs and operatic surtitle operation and libretto translation (Opera Australia) among others. For more info ask for my CV.

Some of my course papers investigate the following ideas:

1. “A comparative analysis of the need for voice training and performance skills in interpreter training: reported attitudes from trainee and practising interpreters”.

2. “How cross-cultural aspects and the theme of multimodality affect the way operatic surtitles are constructed for contemporary audiences”.

I was born and raised in Australia but my family comes from the island of Cyprus. I have spent considerable time in Italy studying as a student. I am currently based in Saarburg, Germany which is located on the border of Luxembourg and France. I continue to spend much time in Italy. My multicultural experiences have equipped me with intercultural skills essential to the art of translation.
