Bio
I am Giulia, passionate about foreign languages and their different
usage. I love trying to transfer the meaning from one language to
another and translation is one of my favourite fields of application.
I'm also really fond of TV series, that's why I've watched them in the
original version and with subtitles since I was 10 (Buffy the Vampire
Slayer is my first crush). My BA dissertation reflected this passion:
"Code-switching in the TV series 'Modern Family': a case study" dealt
with Gloria's peculiar speech and the emotional implications of her
code-switching.
In general, I love helping people and being
supportive to the team, but I also work quite well by myself. I always
have a kind smile for everyone because I love working in a quite
environment. I love young, enthusiastic work places where ideas can flow
freely and everyone can contribute to each other's work.
