Source text - Japanese 厚生労働省は18日、政府が国民に配布を始めた布マスクの一部に、汚れが付着するなどの不良品が見つかったと発表した。妊婦向けのものが中心だが、学校への発送分では虫の混入なども確認されているという。同省は不良品を回収し、交換に応じる方針。
同省によると、妊婦向けの布マスクは約1000万枚の配布を予定しており、14日から各自治体に発送を開始。だが16日以降、「変色している」「髪の毛が混入していた」などの報告が相次いだ。17日現在、報告は80市区町村の1901件に上る。介護施設や小中学校、国内全戸への発送分でも確認されているという。
同省は各自治体に発送前の徹底確認を求め、メーカーには検品強化などを要請した。担当者は「不良品を見つけたら居住自治体に連絡してほしい」としている。

O ministério da saúde e trabalho anunciou, no dia 18, a descoberta de parte das encomendas de máscaras, feitas pelo governo e destinadas à população, com níveis irregulares de impurezas. Foram encontrados insetos junto com os produtos, que eram voltados principalmente para gestantes e parcialmente para escolas. O ministro planeja o recolhimento dos produtos de má qualidade, assim como sua substituição.
Segundo o ministério, foi planejada a distribuição de cerca de 10 milhões de máscaras de panos destinadas a gestantes, que começaram a ser distribuídas para os governos locais a partir do dia 14. No entanto, desde o dia 16 foram registrados relatos de “fios de cabelo juntos” e “mudanças de cor” nas máscaras. Até o dia atual, 17, foram registrados mais de 1901 casos em 80 diferentes cidades. Foram confirmados casos nas distribuições para casas de repouso e escolas primárias e secundárias do país inteiro.
O ministério pede aos governos locais uma confirmação dos produtos antes do envio, assim como a necessidade de inspeção por parte dos fornecedores. O responsável comentou sobre o assunto que “caso encontrem-se produtos irregulares, entrem em contato com o município local”.

Now that we’re facing quarantine, the habit of exercising is important to maintain a healthy mind and body.
While feeling anxious about life in the middle of the world-wide spread of the new coronavirus, if you are struggling with balancing your remote work and parenting, your fitness will tend to fall to low levels.
Not to mention, if you have a kid who is in that phase where he or she’s still learning how to walk!
In the middle of parenting without any breaks and with the energy needed to raise children safely and with no hurt, the time that you have to yourself and to be fit will be certainly reduced.
However, it is not impossible to keep the habit of working out, even if you’re raising an infant. Kids love to reproduce the life style of others. You can enjoy exercising together with them and demonstrate to the child that “exercising is important”.
Amanda Garza, a former professional boxer and the owner of the Counter Punch Training, says that “you need the mindset to work out together with your kid”.
Garza is currently living with her partner together with 4 children in their house. Thus, she understands how difficult it is by her own experience.
However, even if she cannot do the workout that she really wants to do rightfully, she is still exercising her body. That’s better than nothing and in that way she’s able to spend some joyful time with her kids.
Even if your child is an infant, there’re many ways to work out that we can show you.

1. Games can be turned into exercising
Now, it is not about using that toy that you have at home. Kids have an energetic soul, they run around, investigate the surrounding, try new movements and so on.
Let’s say that the parents control the routine of the work out together with the kids, like trying interesting yoga positions or running with them. If they do that, they can show their children how to stretch and work their bodies, having them copying the parents.
This way, the kids will be in such a joy, while you can communicate with them in a healthy way. This will certainly make the bond between the family stronger and turn it into an important experience.
2. Imitating the moves of kids (unexpectedly hard)
In this super cute video, this kid is leading a dance class, while the adults are mimicking his movements.
When you watch this, you can feel and understand how the little ones can work out in their own special way. Always jumping, running in zigzag, squatting, bending, crawling and so on…
Put some music on and let’s enter the game! You can work out a little bit without letting your daughter or son know.
3. Make the kids mimic the parent’s moves
Children innately mimic people.
If they see their parents doing jumping jacks, squats, lunges or burpees, they will certainly try to do it too. That’s why it is a good idea to make them imitate it and work their bodies.
This might take longer than the usual work out, and your planned routine level might be lower. However, you shouldn’t focus on that!
This method is a way for parents to tire the little ones out, besides improving healthy habits.
4. Using the weight of your kid to lift training
Instead of using barbells, let’s put your kid on your back and do weight training! Then, try to do squats, lunges, planks or push-ups like that.
Besides, with time the kids will certainly grow and the strength needed will become higher.
5. Distracting your kid
Let’s say that the methods shown until here didn’t work. Let’s use the “distracting your kid” strategy and work out in this period.
For example, let your children play with their toys or let them watch yoga and dancing classes videos. Then, during this period, you can go to a separate room and do your own work out.
It’s been a really hard time currently, but if we exercise even a bit during our daily life, it’ll certainly be helpful to de-stress and turn our insecurities into something productive.
According to Garza, “getting the parents to work out while making the children to exercise is catching two birds at once”. At least you can tire the younger ones out and have a lovely nap.
