1 PRECAUCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Este capítulo explica las precauciones que debe tener a la hora de manipular la terminal con seguridad. Lea atentamente las recomendaciones que se hacen. A continuación se detalla el significado de los símbolos.
No desmonte ni modifique el equipo. En su interior hay presente alta tension y podría provocar shock eléctrico.
En caso de funcionamiento anómalo, como por ejemplo calientamiento excesivo, fuego, humo o incluso olor sospechoso, desenchufe el equipo inmediatamente y póngase en contacto con su distribuidor para asistencia técnica. Hay peligro de incendio o shock eléctrico si se sigue usando el equipo en estas condiciones.
No enchufe el equipo a ninguna otra Fuente de tension distinta a la indicada en la etiqueta situada en la parte posterior. No comparta un mismo enchufe con otro equipo. Esto podría provocar la sobrecarga del enchufe y provocar un incendio.
No dañe, rompa o modifique el cable de alimentación del equipo.
No coloque encima ningún cuerpo pesado. Tampoco tire ni doble excesivamente el cable. Esto podría dañar el cable provocando un incendio o shock eléctrico.
En caso de que accidentalmente penetre en el equipo un cuerpo extraño (incluyendo piezas metálicas, agua u otro liquid), desconecte el enchufe inmediatamente y póngase en contacto con su distribuidor para asistencia técnica. Hay peligro de incendio o shock eléctrico si se sigue usando el equipo en estas condiciones.
No enchufe o desenchufe con las manos húmedas. Ent al caso puede recibir un shock eléctrico.
No instale la terminal en una superficie inclinada o inestable. Esto podría hacer caer el equipo y provocarle daños debido al impacto
No deje ningún contenedor con agua ni tampoco ningún objeto metálico cerca del equipo. En caso que penetrase agua o algún cuerpo metálico en el equipo, podría provocar incendio o shock eléctrico
No instale el equipo en un entorno húmedo o con polvo. Podría provocar incendio o shock eléctrico.
No instale el equipo cerca de equipos de cocción. El aceite o el humo pueden provocar cortocircuitos y en consecuencia incendio o shock eléctrico.
No tire del cable de alimentación para desenchufar el equipo. Para desenchufarlo, sujete el enchufe con la mano. De otro modo el cable podría resultar dañado, pudiendo provocar un cortocircuito y en consecuencia incendio o shock eléctrico.
Desenchufe el equipo cada vez que se tenga que trasladar el equipo a otro lugar. De lo contrario podría dañarse el cable de alimentación, pudiendo provocar un cortocircuito y en consecuencia incendio o shock eléctrico.
Asegúrese de que el enchufe está completamente insertado en la toma de tensión. Una inserción incorrecta podría provocar un cortocircuito y en consecuencia incendio o shock eléctrico.
En caso de que se rompiera el cuerpo del equipo (por ejemplo, debido a un golpe) desenchufe el equipo y póngase en contacto con su distribuidor para asistencia técnica. Hay peligro de incendio o shock eléctrico si se sigue usando el equipo en estas condiciones
Para la limpieza del equipo, use un paño suave y seco. No usar nunca agua ni detergentes de ningún tipo, ya que en caso de penetrar en el interior del equipo podrían provocar incendio o shock eléctrico.
Instale el equipo cerca de una toma de corriente que sea fácilmente accesible
Asegúrese de que la instalación eléctrica del edificio en donde se instale el equipo esté protegida mediante un magnetotérmico y un diferencial.
EL EQUIPO SOLAMENTE DEBE SER INSTALADO POR PERSONAL TÉCNICO
CUALIFICADO, QUEDANDO PROHIBIDA LA MANIPULACIÓN DEL EQUIPO POR PERSONAL NO AUTORIZADO, TAL Y COMO SE INDICA EN LAS TABLAS DE RECOMENDACIONES DE SEGURIDAD ANTERIORES.
2 INSTALACIÓN DE LA TERMINAL
NO CONECTE LA TERMINAL A LA RED ELÉCTRICA HASTA QUE NO ESTÉ DEBIDAMENTE INSTALADA.
2.1 Accesorios
Según el modelo de kit adquirido, en él encontrará los siguientes accesorios:
√ Terminal de fichar de reconocimiento facial.
√ Fuente de alimentación para conexión a la red eléctrica.
√ Cable de comunicación Ethernet.
√ CD con el programa de gestión horaria PCTIME y guías de ayuda a la instalación, configuración y uso.
√ Tacos y tornillos para la sujeción a una pared.
2.2 Descripción de la terminal CPF-380X
NOTA: Si la terminal entra en estado de bajo consumo (pantalla apagada), pulse (toque) la pantalla táctil para reanudar. El tiempo de entrada en este modo es configurable.
2.3 Instalación de la terminal CPF-380X.
2.3.1 Entorno de instalación.
Localizaciones recomendadas:
La terminal puede ser instalada, tanto en interiores como en exteriores, en los que la intensidad de la fuente de luz externa sea de 0-8000 Lux. Si la terminal se instala en el exterior se debe evitar la luz directa del sol. Instale la terminal en interiores a una distancia mínima de 3 metros de las ventanas, y a 2 metros de lámparas o fuentes de luz artificial.
2.3.2 Pasos para la instalación.
PASO#1 Utilizando la plantilla de papel, o la base de montaje de la terminal, marque y realice los tres agujeros de sujeción. Se recomienda que la marca de referencia quede a una distancia de 1,1 metros del suelo, considerando que la altura media de los usuarios va desde 1,55m a 1,85m (a 1,2 m si la altura menor es de 1,65m).
ATENCIÓN: Si tiene más de 1 terminal debe instalarlas a la misma altura y en similares condiciones.
PASO#2 Alinee la base para montaje en pared con los agujeros en la pared, y use los tres tornillos para fijarla en la pared (figura 1). Alinee la placa de montaje metálica con los agujeros de la base de montaje en pared, y use los cuatro tornillos para fijarla (figura 2); encaje la terminal en la placa metálica (de arriba a bajo), asegúrese de que queda correctamente encajada (figura3); finalmente, utilice el tornillo para fijar la terminal a la placa metálica (figura 4). No realizar este paso hasta no realizar las conexiones para alimentar y comunicar con el equipo.
2.3.3 Conectar el cable de comunicación
Conecte un extremo del cable de red Ethernet al conector Ethernet de la terminal, y el otro extremo del cable a un punto de la red Ethernet de su empresa.
2.3.4 Conectar el cable de alimentación
Conecte a la terminal el jack del cable de la fuente de alimentación suministrada, y ésta a una toma de 220 Vac.
3 INSTALACIÓN DEL PROGRAMA
3.1 Requerimientos e instalación de PCTIME
Sistema operativo: Windows 2000/2003/2008/2012/XP/Vista/7/8/10
CPU: Pentium III 2 GHz o superior
Memoria RAM: 512 MB (recomendado: 1 GB en XP, 2 GB en Vista/W7/W8/W10)
Espacio en disco: 100 MB (en la instalación)
Base de datos: Tipo Microsoft Access® (no es necesario que esté instalado)
1. Inserte el CD de programa que se le ha suministrado en la unidad de CD-ROM de su ordenador.
2. Arrancará de forma automática la guía de ayuda a la instalación. Si no lo hiciera haga doble clic en el archivo ejecutable del CD (.\Setup.exe)
3. Siga la presentación hasta llegar al apartado de instalación de programas. Instale las aplicaciones que se indican a continuación.
3.2 Instalar el Programa de presencia
Una vez introducido el CD, pulse en Instalación de programas > Programa de presencia en la pantalla de presentación y siga el asistente de instalación hasta el final del mismo. Deje la ruta de instalación que aparece por defecto, tal y como se ve en la siguiente imagen.
El instalador dejará un acceso directo en su Escritorio para poder ejecutar el programa PCTIME . Si ha instalado dentro de Archivos de Programa en Windows Vista,7, 8, abra la ventana Propiedades del acceso directo y en la pestaña de Compatibilidad marque la opción Ejecutar en modo Administrador.
3.3 Instalar el Servidor de comunicaciones
Finalizada la instalación del programa de presencia, desde la misma pantalla de Instalación de programas, pulse sobre Servidor de comunicaciones. El servidor de comunicaciones nos permitirá la comunicación entre el programa de presencia y las terminales. Deje también la ruta que aparece por defecto durante la instalación.
Asegúrese que está en marcha cuando lo haga el programa de presencia; observará el icono de un teléfono negro en la Barra de tareas del ordenador.
4 CONFIGURAR LA BASE DE DATOS
1. Una vez instalado, ejecute el programa PCTIME desde el acceso directo en el escritorio.
2. El programa crea por defecto la base de datos (BD) en la carpeta local
.\Imesd\Pctime\Database\Pctime.mdb, aunque se recomienda cambiar esta ruta por una carpeta en un servidor del que se realicen copias de seguridad regularmente.
3. Deberá tener permisos de lectura y escritura sobre esta carpeta. Consulte con el administrador del sistema informático de su empresa.
4. Para cambiar la ruta diríjase al menú del programa Varios – Configuración y pulse sobre el botón Programas.
5. Se abrirá una ventana como la mostrada arriba. Cambie la ruta de datos por la deseada en el campo RUTA DE DATOS. Cuando cambie la ruta se copiará, de forma automática, la base de datos en la nueva carpeta; a menos que ya existiera.
6. Si se instala más de una copia del programa, todas deben apuntar a la misma Ruta de datos.
4.1 Traspaso de datos desde una versión anterior del programa
Si ya tenía una versión instalada del programa PCTIME/w anterior a la 4.0.1, o una versión de los programas GESRES/w o GESPRET/W, deberá proceder a realizar el traspaso de las bases de datos antiguas al nuevo programa, a fin de dar continuidad a la información almacenada.
Si la versión anterior del programa PCTIME/w estuviera instalada en el mismo ordenador en el que ha instalado la nueva, en la primera ejecución del programa se iniciará de forma automática el módulo de traspaso, que traspasará todos los datos, adaptándolos al formato de la nueva versión. Si no estuviera instalada en el mismo PC, deberá lanzar manualmente el traspaso de datos; para ello pulse desde la pantalla principal, menú Varios->Utilidades el botón Traspasar BD; de igual modo, deberá también indicar la anterior ruta de datos en la que se localiza la información a traspasar.
Al finalizar el proceso, la posible indicación de errores de traspaso, no significa, necesariamente, pérdida de información; la estructura de la base de datos anterior podía contener datos sin significado que no son traspasables. Dé una vuelta por el nuevo programa: personal, horarios, incidencias, calendarios, marcajes, etc. y compruebe que todo ha sido traspasado correctamente. La opción de traspaso se desactivará como precaución adicional; si necesitara volver a utilizar el módulo de traspaso, póngase en contacto con el servicio técnico de IMESD ELECTRONICA.
5 COMUNICAR CON LA TERMINAL
En este apartado se explicará como conectar la terminal al ordenador y como establecer los parámetros de comunicación correctos. Posteriormente se probará dicha conexión.
Siga los pasos siguientes para comunicar con las terminales:
1er paso: Configurar la terminal.
2o paso: Conectar la terminal a la red.
3er paso: Configurar los parámetros de comunicación en PCTIME.
5.1 Configurar la terminal
Deberá asignar una dirección IP a la terminal CPF-380X; a continuación se explica como:
• Pulse (toque) la tecla seguido de la tecla , se abrirá el teclado numérico; a continuación, introduzca el ID del administrador por defecto: 851831; pulse la tecla “Llave” e introduzca la contraseña: 851831, seguida de la tecla OK. Sólo los usuarios administradores de la terminal tienen acceso a las configuraciones que se pueden realizar desde el Menú Principal.
• Una vez en la pantalla del Menú Principal, entre en el apartado de comunicaciones, botón Comunicac . En esta zona encontraremos los parámetros básicos para la comunicación Ethernet: Dirección IP, Máscara subred, Puerta de enlace, ID dispositivo.
• Para editar la IP tocamos sobre la zona de los datos, se abrirá el teclado numérico. Introduzca la dirección IP y pulse para confirmar los cambios. Una vez confirmado, la pantalla vuelve atrás y se visualizan todos los parámetros; desde aquí grabaríamos los cambios pulsando la tecla Grabar.
• Repita los pasos si desea editar cualquier otro parámetro.
• El parámetro ID dispositivo toma por defecto el valor 1; lo alteraríamos en el caso de adquirir
más de una terminal. Cada terminal deberá estar numerada con un valor diferente, del 1 al 99, y coincidir con el indicado en el programa de gestión.
Nota: Si usted desconoce la dirección IP que debe asignar a la terminal, consulte con el administrador de la red informática de su empresa; en caso que no disponga de él, lea el Apéndice I que le ayudará en esta tarea.
5.2 Conectar la terminal CPF-380X a la red
Conecte un extremo del cable de red ethernet al conector ethernet de la terminal y conecte el otro extremo del cable a un punto de red Ethernet de su empresa.
5.3 Configurar terminal y parámetros de comunicación en el programa
Seleccione la opción Terminales del menú principal del PcTime.
El programa crea la primera red de terminales con una terminal del modelo indicado en el asistente de primera ejecución; deberá seleccionar el modelo CPF-380X. Si no lo hizo, abra el menú Terminales de PCTIME y siga los siguientes pasos:
1. Seleccione la pestaña de Terminales e indique el modelo de terminal adquirido, hacienda clic en el campo Terminal se abrirá un desplegable para que escoja su modelo, seleccione CPF-380X.
2. Puede añadir o borrar terminales, si dispone de más de una.Para ello haga clic en el botón Añadir o en el botón Borrar terminales.
3. En el campo Dirección IP – Puerto de la terminal, indique la dirección IP que configure en la terminal. La terminal CPF-380X utiliza el puerto TCP 4370 (no lo cambie por otro).
NOTA: vea el Apéndice VII Obtener una dirección IP para ver la numeración y dirección IP que debe configurar en la terminal y en el programa.
4. Seleccione la pestaña Datos y compruebe que en la zona de Protocolo se ha marcado el indicador ZkTCP correspondiente al modelo de terminal CPF-380X y la opción Red de terminales con conexión Ethernet.
5. Pulse el botón Seleccionar , situado en la parte inferior derecha de la pantalla, para seleccionar la red visualizada como red activa y guardar los cambios realizados.
6. Asegúrese de que el servidor de comunicaciones está en marcha (teléfono negro en la Barra de tareas): En Varios - Configuración - pestaña Diversos puede hacer que se cargue de forma automática al arrancar la aplicación.
6 COMENZAR A TRABAJAR
Una vez realizados todos los pasos indicados anteriormente ya podemos empezar a trabajar.
Éste apartado pretende dar una idea general de como utilizar el programa. Para más información consulte la ayuda del programa o el manual que encontrará en la carpeta .\Docs\Manuales\Software del CD (PCTIME_Cas.pdf manual en castellano y PCTIME_Cat.pdf manual en catalán).
6.1 Configuración del programa
Nota: Recuerde pulsar el botón Añadir para crear una ficha nueva y editarla a continuación.
1. Crear horarios. Los horarios servirán para indicar horas de entrada, horas teóricas, si contabilizamos extras... Crearemos tantos horarios como casos diferentes tengamos, sin pensar en este momento en qué empleados los seguirán y cuando. Vea en el apartado siguiente una breve descripción de los parámetros del horario.
2. Crear calendarios. Los calendarios marcan los días de fiesta y vacaciones que tendrá un determinado grupo de empleados durante el año, los días no marcados se consideran laborales. No disponibles en la versión LE, en la que todos los días serán considerados laborables. La edición de calendarios se puede realizar día a día (haciendo doble clic sobre una fecha) o utilizando un potente asiste que le facilitará la programación. Al finalizar el año, prepararemos la información del año nuevo ayudados por la utilidad de traspaso de datos de horarios y calendarios de un año al siguiente (menú Varios – Utilidades – Año nuevo)
3. Crear secciones. En Varios – Configuración – Empresas podrá indicar el nombre de la empresa que aparecerá en los informes, y crear los diferentes departamentos o secciones que servirán para ubicar a los empleados en la estructura de la empresa.
4. Crear categorías. Las categorías, que marcan los precios por hora trabajada, sólo están disponibles en las versiones PCTIME/w y PCTIME+ si ha adquirido la opción “Valoración de horas”.
5. Crear las fichas de empleados. Cree las fichas de cada empleado, indicando su nombre y apellidos, código de matrícula, código identificador, los horarios, calendario, sección y categoría de entre los creados anteriormente. PCTIME distingue 3 tipos de asignación de horario:
• Asignación automática de hasta 5 horarios diferenciados; el programa elige el horario para cada jornada entre uno de los indicados.
• Asignación por día de la semana con la que podrá fijar el horario hasta para 2 días dela semana. En estos días no actuará la asignación automática.
• Asignación directa desde la Agenda Personal, para solucionar casos puntuales (no disponible en la versión LE). Los días con horario o tipo de día indicado en la Agenda anulan cualquier otro tipo de asignación.
6. Enviar usuarios.
En el modelo CPF-380X es imprescindible cargarle previamente la lista de usuarios para poder proceder a la captura de caras y a su utilización en general. Desde la pantalla de Usuarios, asigne la terminal como punto de marcaje (botón Puntos), defina las opciones personales de marcaje y envíe todos los empleados pulsando el botón Enviar.
7. Crear incidencias.
Códigos con los que los empleados podrán indicar al fichar motivos de retraso o ausencia (funcionalidad según versión de programa, no disponible en la LE).
8. Capturar caras.
Capturar las caras de los empleados para su reconocimiento. La captura se realiza en la terminal, a la que previamente habremos enviados los usuarios; en el apartado 6.2.3 se comenta el procedimiento. Desde las opciones del botón Bio de la barra de PCTIME, podrá leer las caras capturadas para almacenarlas en la base de datos y enviarlas a otras terminales, si dispone de más de una.
9. Fichar.
Utilice cualquiera de los tres métodos disponibles: mediante tarjeta, por teclado o mediante la cara; con o sin incidencia (ésta se ha de introducir antes de realizar el marcaje). Vea, para más detalles, el capítulo 6.2.2 dedicado especialmente a este tema.
6.1.1 Parámetros del horario
Se comentan brevemente los parámetros principales del horario.
Horas teóricas: Las que debería realizar el trabajador para que el saldo del día fuese 0.
Horas de entrada: Definen la hora en la que se espera que el empleado haya realizado un marcaje de entrada. Programa 1 ó 2 entradas, dependiendo de que se trate o no de un horario intensivo. Las tres entradas se programan cuando se desea controlar una tercera entrada, como puede ser la de una salida para almorzar; no muy usada.
Margen previo: Es el tiempo que, aunque se realice el marcaje antes de la hora de entrada, no se contabilizaría. Define lo que podríamos denominar un margen para fichar, evitando la contabilización de un tiempo antes de la hora de entrada programada que no es de trabajo.
Descuento fijo: El tiempo programado en este parámetro se descontará del tiempo trabajado. Utilícelo para indicar, por ejemplo, un tiempo de almuerzo que no forma parte del tiempo de trabajo, y que tampoco se ficha al iniciarlo o finalizarlo.
Redondeo normales: Una vez aplicado el Margen previo, la diferencia de tiempo entre la salida y su entrada se redondea a la baja a un múltiplo del valor programado en este parámetro.
Contabilizar extras: Decide si el tiempo que supere las Horas teóricas se ha contabilizar como tiempo extra.
Redondeo extras: El valor obtenido como tiempo extra se redondea a la baja a un múltiplo del valor programado.
6.2 El día a día
10. Leer marcajes. Los marcajes realizados en la terminal se almacenan en la memoria de la terminal, el proceso de lectura los almacena en la base de datos del programa para su posterior tratamiento y extracción de informes. Lea con la mayor frecuencia posible; es bueno configurar el programa (menú Varios – Configuración – Lectura) para que lo haga de forma automática al entrar.
11. Procesado de datos (marcajes). Cálculo de horas a partir de los marcajes realizados y de las asignaciones de horario y calendario. Si desde el menú de Varios – Configuración – Lectura eligió la opción Leer y procesar (1 x día), el programa automatizará las tareas de lectura y procesado de marcajes al iniciar el programa y le mostrará la pantalla de depuración, para que proceda a solucionar las anomalías encontradas.
12. Depuración de errores. El procesado nos dará una lista de anomalías que deberemos corregir a fin de que la información que obtengamos en los informes sea la “correcta”.
13. Extracción de informes. Seleccione el informe, los criterios de extracción sobre fechas y personal, finalmente pulse el botón Listar .
6.2.1 Edición de marcajes
Entre las tareas diarias más comunes seguramente se incluyen: visualizar marcajes, añadir marcajes, añadir una incidencia a un marcaje, desactivar un marcaje,... Todas ellas relacionadas con los marcajes realizados u olvidados por los empleados que fichan. Todas estas acciones se realizan desde dos posibles pantallas:
• Desde la ficha personal del empleado, botón Marcajes.
• Desde la pantalla de edición de marcajes global, botón en la barra de la pantalla principal. Esta opción no está disponible en la versión LE. A diferencia de la primera opción, en la que se trabaja con un solo empleado, en ésta podrá visualizar marcajes desde uno a todo el personal, y realizar modificaciones sobre cualquiera de los empleados que señale en el árbol de personal situado a la izquierda de la pantalla. Utilice el botón derecho del ratón sobre la zona de marcajes para seleccionar la acción a realizar.

6.2.2 Fichar
Existen 3 métodos de realización de un marcaje: mediante la cara, mediante tarjeta de proximidad, mediante el teclado; la disponibilidad de uno o más depende de la programación del empleado. La terminal confirmará con su foto, un mensaje en pantalla y un mensaje acústico la realización del marcaje.
En cualquiera de los tres modos, si desea introducir una incidencia o código de tarea junto con el marcaje, deberá pulsar previamente la tecla de acceso a submenú y, a continuación, la tecla Incidencias, seleccione la incidencia de la lista mostrada (las incidencias se han de enviar desde PCTIME).
Fichar con tarjeta: Acerque la tarjeta a la zona inferior de la terminal.
Fichar por teclado: Toque la tecla de pantalla, introduzca su código ID, seguido de la tecla llave y su contraseña, pulse la tecla OK para finalizar.
Fichar con la cara: Para usuarios con altura comprendida entre 1’55 metros y 1,85 metros se recomienda colocarse a una distancia de 0,5 metros de la terminal.
Cuando vea su imagen en la pantalla de la terminal, retroceda un paso si su imagen aparece demasiado brillante, o adelante un paso si su imagen aparece demasiado oscura; sin que su rostro salga del recuadro.
Para poder realizar marcajes con la cara deberemos realizar previamente el registro de caras.
6.2.3 Registro de caras
Aunque es posible registrar un usuario desde cero en la terminal, suponemos que los usuarios han sido previamente cargados desde el programa PCTIME, y que lo que resta es capturar su cara para que puedan fichar. Acceda al [Menú Principal] de la terminal (deberá ser un usuario administrador de la misma, o utilizar el administrador por defecto (Id: ******, contraseña: ******) y seleccione la opción [Gest.Usr.], señale el empleado de la lista y pulse [Cara], aparecerá la pantalla de captura de la cara.
Durante el registro, posicione la cabeza de manera que su rostro aparezca en el centro de la pantalla de la terminal. Siga las instrucciones de la voz y encuadre los ojos en el recuadro verde. Los usuarios deberán moverse adelante o atrás durante el registro según le indique la voz, a fin de posicionar los ojos en el recuadro.
Recuerde pulsar el botón [Grabar] para actualizar los datos del empleado y, una vez haya vuelto al programa PCTIME, desde la opción Usuarios; lea las caras de los empleados capturados para que sean almacenadas en la base de datos y/o enviarlas a otras posibles terminales.
- Métodos de registro y fichaje
La terminal tiene 3 métodos: Rostro/ID+Contraseña/Tarjeta ID, la disponibilidad es función de la programación establecida para el empleado.
El marcaje mediante la cara se puede realizar en modo 1:N (identificación) ó 1:1 (verificación). Use 1:N para marcajes rápidos en un solo paso; basta mirar a la terminal encuadrando el rostro en el marco verde, y ésta realizará una búsqueda por toda la base de datos para comprobar si su rostro existe.
Utilice el sistema 1:1 (verificación) cuando necesite mayor exactitud y fiabilidad, o el número de caras almacenadas es alto. Para ello pulse, en primer lugar, la tecla e introduzca su ID de usuario; a continuación, proceda como en el sistema anterior, mostrando su rostro; la terminal verificará si el rostro almacenado para el ID introducido coincide con el rostro mostrado en pantalla en ese momento.
Durante el fichaje, posicione su cabeza hasta que su rostro aparezca en el centro de la pantalla de la terminal. Centre su rostro en el interior del recuadro verde.
6.2.4 Consejos para una buena identificación facial
Durante la captura (Enroll) y el fichaje (Verify) intente mantener una expresión facial relajada y una postura erguida.
Cuando los usuarios fichen, es importante que se coloquen a la misma distancia y ángulo de la terminal que cuando se registraron.
Si el usuario utiliza gafas, y existen luminarias próximas, puede necesitar inclinar ligeramente la cabeza para evitar el reflejo en los cristales.
Adopte una expresión y postura normal, no forzada.
Expresiones faciales correctas e incorrectas
Algunos errores en el registro (Enroll) y posterior fichaje (Verify) son:
7 APÉNDICE I: Obtener una dirección IP
Si usted desconoce que dirección IP le debe asignar a su terminal, lea los siguientes pasos que le ayudaran a obtener una:
Estando en el escritorio de Windows pulse Inicio - Ejecutar... Escriba el nombre del programa a ejecutar (cmd) y pulse Aceptar.
1. En primer lugar averigüe el rango de direcciones IP que se pueden asignar. Para ello escriba el comando indicado en la pantalla siguiente:
2. Asigne a la terminal una dirección igual a la de su ordenador cambiando la última de las cuatro cifras. En éste caso en concreto deberá ser: 192.168.0.X, donde X será un número (entre 1 y 254) que no coincida con la IP que tenga asignada otra máquina dentro de la red de la empresa.
3. Escriba una instrucción como la indicada en la pantalla para ver si la nueva dirección está ocupada.
4. Vea que se ha obtenido respuesta desde una máquina que ya tiene asignada esta dirección, con lo que deberá probar con otra:
5. En éste nuevo caso no se ha obtenido respuesta, lo que puede significar varias cosas:
a. No existe ninguna máquina en la red con ésta IP, con lo que la podrá asignar a la terminal.
b. Existe alguna máquina con ésta dirección pero se encuentra apagada en éste momento.
c. La máquina que pueda tener asignada ésta dirección IP no responde a la solicitud de "ping"
Si tiene problemas de comunicación puede ser debido a los puntos b o c, puesto que no puede haber dos máquinas con la misma IP en una misma red. Deberá, en éste caso, probar con otra dirección nueva repitiendo los pasos a partir del tercero.
8 APÉNDICE II: Descarga de marcajes desde el USB
Si no tiene conexión con la terminal, puede utilizar una memoria USB para la descarga de marcajes. Para grabar los marcajes realizados en la terminal en una memoria USB:
Conecte la memoria USB en la entrada USB de la terminal, se encuentra en el lateral izquierdo de la misma; entre en Configuración tecleando Menú y, a continuación, ponga la tarjeta, código o el rostro de un usuario administrador de la terminal para proceder.
• En el menú que aparece, seleccione la opción Car Des , se desplegarán diferentes opciones; seleccione Descargar Registros. Si el equipo detecta la memoria USB, iniciará el proceso de grabación de marcajes.
• Si la descarga es correcta, los marcajes se habrán copiado en la memoria USB y podrá borrarlos de la memoria de la terminal para evitar que se repitan en la siguiente descarga.
• Para borrar los marcajes descargados de la memoria de la terminal, pulse Sal. 2 veces hasta visualizar la pantalla inicial de opciones de configuración, seleccione la opción Ge.Datos (Gestión Datos). En la pantalla que aparece a continuación, seleccione la opción Borrar Fichaj. y confirme el borrado de los marcajes.
• Pulse Sal. hasta visualizar la pantalla inicial y retire el dispositivo USB.
Para traspasar los marcajes de la memoria USB al programa:
• Conecte el dispositivo a un puerto USB del ordenador donde tenga instalada la aplicación PCTIME y ejecútela.
• Diríjase a la pantalla de lectura normal de marcajes pulsando el botón Leer.
• Seleccione la opción Una terminal, la terminal a leer y, posteriormente, marque la opción De archivo Dat.
• A continuación, pulse el botón Leer, se abrirá una ventana para seleccionar el archivo a leer. Si el archivo seleccionado no tiene la denominación correcta o no corresponde a la terminal seleccionada se mostrará un mensaje de “Error archivo”.
La ruta completa sería: “Disco Extraíble”:\ _attlog.dat”
• Seleccione el fichero, pulse Abrir y compruebe que se han traspasado los marcajes.
9 APÉNDICE III: Guía de utilización de la terminal CPF-380X
Nota: Existe un manual completo de la terminal en la carpeta .Docs/Hardware del CD del programa.
9.1 Uso de la pantalla táctil-Calibración
Toque la pantalla con el puntero o con la punta de la uña, como se muestra en la siguiente figura. Un punto de contacto amplio puede producir errores en la selección.
1. Introducción de números: Un teclado numérico aparece cuando el dato a introducir es numérico. En la imagen puede ver la pantalla de introducción del ID del usuario en el procedimiento de añadir usuarios; después de introducir el ID de usuario, pulse [OK] para guardar o pulse [X] para cancelar y volver a la pantalla anterior.
2. Introducir texto: Un pequeño teclado de PC aparece cuando el dato a introducir es descriptivo. En la imagen puede ver la pantalla de introducción del nombre del usuario en el procedimiento de añadir usuarios; pulse la tecla [Nombre]. El sistema mostrará automáticamente la pantalla de entrada de texto. Después de introducir el nombre de usuario, pulse [X] para guardar y volver a la pantalla anterior.
3. Modificar los parámetros: Pulse el valor predeterminado de un parámetro y el sistema cambiará automáticamente a otro valor de este parámetro.
Calibración
Si la pantalla táctil es poco sensible al tacto, se puede realizar una calibración de la pantalla a través de las siguientes operaciones de menú: Pulse [Menú] e identifíquese como administrador > [Auto Test] > Se mostrará [Calibración] en la pantalla y el icono de una cruz. Después de tocar correctamente el centro de la cruz en cinco puntos de la pantalla, el sistema regresa automáticamente al menú Auto Test (o espere). Pulse [Salida] para volver al menú. También el polvo en la pantalla táctil puede afectar a su rendimiento; por lo tanto, trate de mantener la pantalla limpia y libre de polvo.
9.2 Pantalla Inicial
Fecha: Se visualiza la fecha actual.
Acceso a submenú: Pulse esta tecla para visualizar las teclas adicionales; sólo se utiliza aquella que permite introducir incidencias en el marcaje o códigos de operación (Núm.Trab.).
Hora: Se visualiza la hora actual. Soporta los formatos de 12 horas ó 24 horas.
Estado de presencia: Se visualiza el estado actual del control de presencia (no usado).
1:1 Tecla configurable: Presionando esta tecla cambia el modo de verificación del marcaje, contra su ID o entre todos los usuarios. También usada para fichar introduciendo el ID seguido de la contraseña personal.
Menú: Presionando esta tecla y fichando a continuación accederá al menú principal (sólo usuarios administradores).
9.3 Añadir usuario
Utilice este procedimiento sólo si no es posible darlo de alta en el programa PCTIME y necesita comenzar a fichar.
Pulse la tecla Menú y acceda al Menú Principal (ha de identificarse como administrador) y presione [Add. Usr]. En la siguiente pantalla veremos los botones siguientes:
Usr. ID: Para introducir el código identificador del nuevo usuario (de 1 a 4 dígitos numéricos).
Nombre: Para introducir el nombre del usuario, 12 caracteres máximo.
Tarj: Para introducir el código de la tarjeta de proximidad (del código 1 al 16777215).
Cara: Para realizar la captura de la cara del usuario.
Password: Para proteger el fichaje por teclado con una contraseña (de 1 a 6 dígitos).
Tipo: ¿Usuario ordinario o administrador?
Foto: Captura una foto del usuario que se visualizará al fichar (no necesario si se captura la cara).
TipVer: Para indicar el modo de marcaje; elija la primera opción: FACE/RF/PW.
9.4 Cambio de fecha y hora
1. Presione [Menú] en la pantalla inicial e identifíquese como administrador para entrar en la pantalla de menú principal.
2. Pulse [Fec./Hora] de la pantalla del menú principal.
3. Seleccione el parámetro a editar pulsando sobre su valor.
4. Pulse [Guardar] para guardar la información actual y volver a la anterior pantalla, o pulse [Sal.] para volver a la pantalla anterior sin guardar la información modificada.
Desde esta opción también podrá programar el cambio automático de hora invierno-verano (tecla TiempoVerano). Utilice, si desea realizar el cambio automático, el modo 1. Para más información vea el siguiente capítulo.
9.5 Cambio de hora automático
Las terminales CPF-380X, tienen la posibilidad de realizar automáticamente los dos cambios de hora que se realizan anualmente con el objetivo de aprovechar al máximo las horas solares y ahorrar energía.
Dichos cambios tienen lugar el último domingo del mes de marzo, donde a las 02:00 de la madrugada se adelanta el reloj una hora pasando a mostrar las 03:00, y el último domingo del mes de octubre, donde a las 03:00 de la madrugada se atrasa el reloj una hora pasando a mostrar las 02:00.
Si desea configurar el cambio automático, deberá estar físicamente delante de la terminal y entrar en la configuración de ésta pulsando la tecla ‘MENU’ que da entrada al menú, e identificarse; para ello deberá ser administrador de la terminal.
Una vez haya entrado en el menú de la terminal, seleccione la opción de Fec./Hora y se mostraran los parámetros de configuración relacionados con la fecha y hora. Seleccione el campo que indica TiempoVerano o Hor.Verano y asígnele el valor Modo1, a continuación seleccione Func tiemp Veran o Config.Horario y se mostrarán todos los parámetros relacionados con los cambios automáticos, configúrelos como se indica a continuación en el caso de que no lo estuvieran:
Fecha inicio: 03-DD Mes y día en el que se adelanta la hora (último domingo de marzo)
Hora inicio: 02:00 Hora en la que se adelanta la hora (a las 2 horas)
Fecha final: 10-DD Mes y día en el que se atrasa la hora (último domingo de octubre)
Hora final: 03:00 Hora en la que se atrasa la hora (a las 3 horas)
Pulse el botón Grabar antes de salir de la pantalla.
Nota. Deberá actualizar la información del día DD cada año, tanto en Fecha inicio como Fecha final.
9.6 Ajuste de la exposición (contraste) en la captura de caras.
La terminal ajustará automáticamente el contraste de la imagen en función del entorno; no obstante, si la imagen capturada es pobre, puede ajustar los parámetros de exposición manualmente.
Si es un usuario administrador, pulse en la pantalla de la terminal Menú -> Sistema -> Rostro -> Exposición. Por defecto el parámetro está configurado a 300.
Si la imagen capturada es demasiado BRILLANTE, BAJE el parámetro de exposición. Si la imagen capturada es demasiado OSCURA, SUBA el parámetro de exposición.
9.7 Conexión de sirena exterior o dispositivo de control de acceso
En la parte posterior de la terminal CPF-380X encontrará un grupo de 3 regletas, numeradas en la figura como 3, 4 y 5 de 2, 3 y 6 terminales.
Los relés de sirena o accesos dan 1 salida conmutada libre de potencial; donde NC es el contacto normalmente cerrado, NO el contacto normalmente abierto y COM el común de ambos. Los contactos del relé de accesos utilizan los terminales 4,5 y 6 de la regleta número 5 (se numeran de izquierda a derecha).
Características de los contactos: Tensión máx.: 30V; corriente máx.: 1A potencia máx.: 20W
Puede utilizar la salida de 12 VDC para alimentar el relé intermedio en la conexión de una sirena o dispositivo de acceso, no supere nunca 1 A de carga.

IMPORTANTE: Utilice la conexión directa sólo si no se superan las características especificadas; en cualquier otro caso, o ante la duda, intercale un relé de potencia entre el relé de la terminal y la sirena como se muestra en la opción B. 1 SAFETY RECOMENDATIONS
This chapter explains the precautions you should take when handling the device safely. Read the recommendations carefully. The meaning of the symbols is detailed below.
Do not disassemble or modify the device. There is a High-power line inside that could cause electric shock.
In case of abnormal functioning such as excessive heating, fire, smoke or even suspicious smell, unplug the device immediately and contact your provider for technical assistance. There is a fire or electric shock risk if the device is still used in these conditions.
Do not plug the device into any power source other than the one described on the label at the back. Do not share the same plug with another device. This could cause the plug to overload and cause a fire.
Do not damage, break or modify the device power cord.
Do not place anything heavy on top. Also, do not pull or bend the cable in excess. This could damage the cable and cause a fire or an electric shock.
If a foreign/strange body (including metal parts, water or other liquid) accidentally enters the device, disconnect the power plug immediately and contact your provider for technical assistance. There is a fire or electric shock risk if the device is still used in these conditions.
Do not plug or unplug the device with wet hands. In this case you may receive an electric shock.
Do not install the device on a sloping or unstable surface. This could cause the device to fall and cause damage due to an impact.
Do not leave any containers with water or any metal objects near the device. If water or a metal body enters the device, it could cause fire or electric shock.
Do not install the device in a wet or dusty environment. It could cause fire or electric shock.
Do not install the device near cooking equipment. Oil or smoke can cause short circuits and consequently fire or electric shock.
Do not pull the power cord to unplug the device. To unplug, hold the plug by hand. Otherwise, the cable could be damaged, causing a short circuit and consequently fire or electric shock.
Unplug the device whenever needs to be moved elsewhere. Otherwise the power cable could be damaged, causing a short circuit and consequently fire or electric shock.
Make sure the plug is fully inserted into the power socket. An incorrect plugging could cause a short circuit and consequently fire or electric shock.
In case the device body is broken (e.g., due to an impact) unplug the device and contact your provider for technical assistance. There is a fire or electric shock risk if the equipment is still used in these conditions.
For cleaning the device, use a soft and dry cloth. Never use water or detergents of any kind, since if they penetrate inside the device they could cause fire or electric shock.
Install the device near an easily accessible power supply.
Ensure that the electrical installation of the building where the equipment is installed is protected by a circuit breaker and a differential switch.
THE EQUIPMENT SHOULD ONLY BE INSTALLED BY TECHNICAL STAFF
THE MANIPULATION OF THE EQUIPMENT BY UNAUTHORIZED STAFF IS PROHIBITED, AS INDICATED IN THE SAFETY RECOMMENDATION TABLES ABOVE.
2 DEVICE INSTALLATION
DO NOT CONNECT THE DEVICE TO THE MAIN ELECTRICAL NETWORK UNTIL IT IS PROPERLY INSTALLED.
2.1 Accessories
Depending on the purchased kit model you will find the following accessories:
√ Face recognition clocking terminal.
√ AC Power supply for connection to the main electrical network.
√ Ethernet communication cable.
√ CD with PCTIME time management program and installation, configuration, use and help guides.
√ Plugs and screws for wall mount.
2.2 CPF-380X device description
NOTE: If the terminal enters in low power mode (screen goes off), press (touch) the touch screen to resume. The input time in this mode is configurable.
2.3 CPF-380X device Installation.
2.3.1 Installation environment.
Recommended locations:
The device can be installed both, indoors and outdoors, in which the intensity of the external light source is 0-8000 Lux. If the terminal is installed outdoors, direct sunlight should be avoided. Install the device indoors at a e meters minimum distance from windows, and 2 meters distance from lamps or artificial light sources.
2.3.2 Installation steps.
STEP # 1 Using the paper template, or the devices wall mounting base, mark and make the three holding holes. It is recommended for the reference mark to be at 1,1 meters of distance from the ground, bearing in mind that the average range of user’s height are from 1,55m to 1,85m (1,2m if the lowest height is 1,65 m).
ATTENTION: If you have more than 1 device, you must install all of them at the same height and in similar conditions.
STEP # 2 Align the wall mount base with the holes in the wall, and use the three screws to fix it to the wall (Figure 1). Align the metal mounting plate with the holes in the wall mounting base, and use the four screws to fix it (figure 2); snap the device into the metal plate (from top to bottom), make sure it is properly fitted (figure 3); finally, use the screw to fix the device to the metal plate (figure 4). Do not perform this step until you complete the connections to power and communicate with the device.
2.3.3 Connecting the communication cable
Plug one end of the Ethernet network cable to the Ethernet socket on the device, and the other end of the cable to a point on your company's Ethernet network.
2.3.4 Connecting the power cord
Plug to the supplied power-supply jack cable to the device and connect it to a 220 Vac socket.
3 SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
3.1 PCTIME requirements and installation
Operating system: Windows 2000/2003/2008/2012 / XP / Vista/7/8/10
CPU: Pentium III 2 GHz or higher
RAM Memory: 512 MB (recommended: 1 GB on XP, 2 GB on Vista / W7 / W8 / W10)
Disk space: 100 MB (on installation)
Data base: Microsoft Access ® type (does not need to be installed)
1. Insert the supplied CD into the CD-ROM player of your computer.
2. It will automatically start the installation help guide. If not, double-click the CD executable file (.\Setup.exe)
3. Follow the presentation until you reach the program installation section. Install the applications listed below.
3.2 Installing the Face Recognition Program
Once the CD is inserted, click on "Instalación de programas > Programa de presencia" on the presentation screen and follow the installation wizard to the end of it. Leave the default installation path as shown in the image below.
The installer will create a shortcut on your Desktop to be able to run the PCTIME program. If you have installed inside Program files in Windows Vista,7, 8, open Properties window from the shortcut link in the Compatibility tab and check the option Run as an Administrator.
3.3 Installing the Communications Server
After the installation of the face recognition program, from the same Program Installation screen click on Communications server. The communications server will allow us to communicate between the face recognition program and the device. Leave the same installation path that appears by default during installation.
Make sure it is running when the face recognition program does; you will see a black phone icon on the computer Taskbar
4 SETTING UP THE DATABASE
1. Once installed, run PCTIME program from the desktop shortcut.
2. The program will create by default the (BD) database in the following folder
.\Imesd\Pctime\Database\Pctime.mdb, however it is recommended to change this path to a folder on a server that is backed up regularly.
3. You must have read and write permission for this folder. Check with your company's computer system administrator.
4. To change the path go to the program's menu Miscellaneous - Configuration and click on the Programs button.
5. A window like the one shown above will open. Change the data path to the desired one in the field DATA PATH. When you change the path, the database will be automatically copied to the new folder, unless this already exists.
6. If more than one copy of the program is installed, all must point to the same Data Path.
4.1 Transferring data from a previous version of the program
If you already had a previous version of the PCTIME/w 4.0.1 program installed, or a version of the GESRES/w or GESPRET/W programs, you must proceed to transfer the old databases to the new program, in order to give continuity to the stored information.
If the previous version of the PCTIME/w program is installed on the same computer on which you installed the new one, the transfer module will start automatically at the first time you run program, which will transfer all the data and adapting it to the new versions format. If it is not installed on the same PC, you must manually launch the data transfer; to do this, click Transfer DB button from the Various->Utilities menu from the main screen; Same way, you must also indicate the previous data path in which the information to be transferred is located.
At the end of the process, the possible indication of transfer errors does not necessarily mean the loss of information; the structure of the previous database could contain meaningless data that are not transferable. Have a look to the new program: staff, time schedules, incidents, calendars, checkings, etc... and check that everything has been transferred correctly. The transfer option will be disabled as an additional precaution; if you need to use the transfer module again, please contact IMESD ELECTRONICA technical service.
5 COMMUNICATING WITH THE DEVICE
This section will explain how to connect the device to the computer and how to set up the correct communication settings. After, the connection will be tested.
Follow the steps below to communicate with the Devices:
1st step: Set up the device.
2nd step: Connect the device to the network.
3rd step: Set up the communication parameters in PCTIME.
5.1 Setting up the Device
You will need to assign an IP address to the CPF-380X device; the following explains how:
• Press (touch) the key followed by the key and the numeric keypad will appear. Enter the default administrator ID: 851831 and press the Key with the “key symbol". Enter the password: 851831, followed by the “OK” key. Only Admin users have the rights to enter the settings that can be made from the Main Menu.
• Once on the Main Menu screen enter to the communications section, Comunicac button . In this area we will find the basic settings for Ethernet communication: IP address, Subnet mask, Gateway, Device ID.
• To edit the IP, we'll need to tap on the data area and the numeric keypad will open. Enter the IP address and press to confirm the changes. Once confirmed, the screen will go back, and all the settings will be displayed. To save the changes press the Save key.
• Repeat these steps if you want to edit any other settings.
• The Device ID setting takes 1 as a default value; we will need to change it if purchasing more than one device. Each device must be numbered with a different value, from 1 to 99, and match the one set in the management program.
Note: If you don’t know the IP address to assign to the device, check with your company's IT network administrator. If you don’t have one, read the Appendix I that will help you with this task.
5.2 Connecting the CPF-380X device to the network
Connect one end of the Ethernet network cable to the Ethernet socket on the terminal, and the other end of the cable to a point on your company's Ethernet network.
5.3 Setting up the device and the communication settings in the program
Select Devices option from the PcTime main menu.
The program will create the first device network with a model selected on the first wizard execution. You must select the CPF-380X model. If you did not, open the PCTIME Devices menu and follow the steps below:
1. Select the Terminal tab and enter the purchased device model. Clicking on the Terminal field will open a drop-down menu to choose a model. Select CPF-380X.
2. You can add or delete terminals, if you have more than one. To do this click the Add button or the Delete Devices button.
3. In the IP address – Terminal port field, enter the IP address you set up on the terminal. The CPF-380X device uses TCP port 4370 (do not change it for another).
NOTE: Check Appendix VII Getting an IP address to see the numbering and IP address that you must configure in the device and in the program.
4. Select the Data tab and check in the Protocol area that the option ZkTCP indicator corresponding to the CPF-380X model and the Terminal network with Ethernet connection options have been selected
5. Press the Select button, located at the bottom right of the screen, to select the displayed network as active network and save any changes.
6. Make sure the communications server is up and running (black phone on the Taskbar): You can set it up to be automatically loaded when the application starts In the Miscellaneous-Configuration menu, on the Various tab.
6 START WORKING
Once all the steps above have been completed, we can start working.
This section is intended to give a general overview of how to use the program. For more information, check the programs help or the manual that you will find in the CD’s following folder: “.\Docs\Manuals\Software” (PCTIME_Cas.pdf for Spanish manual and PCTIME_Cat.pdf for Catalan manual).
6.1 Program configuration
Note: Remember to press the Add button to create a new tab and then edit it.
1. Creating shifts. The shifts will indicate the start time, theoretical time, if we count overtime... We will create as many shifts as different cases we have, without thinking at this time which employees will follow them and when. See the following section for a brief description of the shifts settings.
2. Creating calendars. The calendars show the bank holiday and staff holiday days that an specific group of employees will have during a year, the days not marked will be considered as working days. Not available in the LE version, in which, every day will be considered as working day. The edition of the calendars can be done daily (by double clicking on a date) or using a powerful assistant that will help you with the programming. At the end of the year, we will prepare the information for the new year assisted by the year to year calendar and time schedule data transfer utility located on (menu Miscellaneous - Utilities - New Year)
3. Creating sections. In Several - Configuration - Companies you can introduce the company name that will appear in the reports and create the different departments or sections that will help you to locate the employees in the company's structure.
4. Creating categories. The categories, which mark the worked price per hour, only available in the PCTIME/w and PCTIME + versions and if you have purchased the "Hour Rating" option.
5. Creating employee profiles. Create the files of each employee, indicating their name and surname, registration code, ID code, time shifts, calendar, section and category among those created above. PCTIME allows 3 different types of time inputs:
• Automatic input for up to 5 different time shifts; the program chooses the time shift for each day between one of the defined ones.
• Weekday input with which you will be able to set up the time shift for up to 2 days of the week. On those days the automatic input will not work.
•Direct assignment from the personal agenda, to solve punctual cases (not available in the LE version). The chosen days with shifts or with selected day type in the Agenda will cancel any other type of input.
6. Updating Users
In the CPF-380X model it is essential to pre-load the list of users to be able to proceed with the face capture and their use in general. From the User's screen, select the device as the clocking point (dots button), define the personal clocking options and upload all employees by pressing the Send button.
7. Creating Incidents
Codes with which employees will be able to indicate when clocking the reasons for being late or creating an absence (functionality according to program version, not available on LE).
8. Recording Faces
Record employee faces for their recognition. The caption is done in the device, where we should have previously uploaded the user’s information; You can see the process in the section 6.2.3 of this document. From the Bio button options in the PCTIME bar, you would be able to see the recorded faces, store them in the database and send them to other devices, if you have more than one.
9. Clock In
Use any of the three available methods: by card, by keyboard or by face; with or without incident (this must be entered before clocking in). For further details see chapter 6.2.2 specifically dedicated to this topic.
6.1.1 Shift Parameters
The main parameters for the shifts are briefly discussed.
Theoretical hours: The ones that the worker should make so the end of the day balance is 0.
Check-in hours: Define the time at which the employee is expected to have made a clock in. Program 1 or 2 entries, depending on whether it is a continuous time shift. The three inputs are programmed when you want to control a third input, such as a lunch break; not very used.
Previous margin: It is the time frame that, even if the clock in is made before the shift starts the time would not be counted. It defines what we could call a frame for clocking, avoiding the counting of the time before the recorded shift start time that is not working time.
Fixed time adjustment: The time set up in this parameter will be deducted from the time worked. Use it to indicate, for example, a lunch break that is not part of the working shift, and that is also not logged when starting or ending it.
Normal round up: Once the previous margin is applied, the time difference between the clock out and the clock in is rounded down to a multiple of the value set up in this parameter.
Overtime: Decides whether the time exceeding the theoretical shift Hours has to be counted as an overtime.
Overtime round up: The value obtained as overtime is rounded down to a multiple of the set up value.
6.2 The day to day
10. Reading clocking’s. The clocking’s made in the device are stored in the device's memory. The reading process stores them in the programs database for the subsequent treatment and report creation. Read as often as possible; it is good to configure the program (menu Miscellaneous - Configuration - Reading) so it is done automatically when you enter.
11. Data processing (clocking). The time calculation is done from the clocking’s made and from the time and calendar settings. If you choose the option Read and process (1 x day) from the menu Miscellaneous - Configuration - Reading, the program will automate the clocking reading and task processing when the program starts, and it will show you the debug screen so you can proceed to fix any found issues.
12. Debug errors. The process will give us a list of errors that we must fix if we want the obtained information in the reports to be “correct”.
13. Downloading Reports. Select the report, the download criteria based on dates and staff and finally press the List button .
6.2.1 Clocking settings
Among the most common daily tasks probably these includes Display clocking’s, add clocking’s, add an incident to a clocking, disable a clocking... All of them related to the clocking’s made or forgotten by the employees who sign. All these actions are performed from two possible screens:
• From the employee personal file, clocking button.
• From the global clocking edit screen, button in the main screen bar. This option is not available in the LE version. Unlike the first option, in which you work with a single employee, in this one you can view clocking’s from a single to all the staff and make modifications on any of the employees that you choose from the staff tree located on the left of the screen. Use the right mouse button on the clocking area to select the action to perform.

6.2.2 Clock in
There are 3 clocking methods: by face recognition, by proximity card, by keyboard; the availability of one or more options depends on the employee's settings. The device will confirm with your picture, a message on the screen and an acoustic signal the completion of the clocking.
In any of the three modes, if you want to enter an incident or task code along with the clocking, you must first press the sub-menu access key and then the Incidence key, select the issue from the displayed list (incidents must be sent from PCTIME).
Card clocking: Bring the card closer to the bottom of the terminal.
Keyboard clocking: Tap on the screen key , enter your ID code, followed by the key button and your password, press the OK key to finish.
Face Recognition clocking: It is recommended for users with a height between 1.55 meters and 1.85 meters to stand up at a distance of 0.5 meters from the device.
When you see your picture on the device screen, step back if your image is too bright, or step forward if your image is too dark; without your face leaving the box.
To be able to make clocking’s using a face we must previously record the faces.
6.2.3 Face recording
Although it is possible to record a user from scratch in the device, we assume that the users have been previously loaded from the PCTIME program, and that what remains is to capture their face so that they can sign. Access the [Main Menu] of the device (you must be an administrator user or use the default administrator (Id: ******, password: ******) and select the option [Gest.Usr.], choose to the employee from the list and press [Face], the face capture screen will appear.
During the recording, position your head so it appears in the center of the device’s screen. Follow the voice instructions and frame your eyes inside the green box. Users should move forwards or backwards during the recording as directed by the voice, in order to position their eyes inside the box.
Remember to press the [Record] button to update the employee data and once you have returned to the PCTIME program, from the Users option read the employees recorded faces so they can be stored in the database and/or send them to other possible devices.
- Registration and clocking methods
The device has 3 methods: Face Recognition / ID + Password / ID Card, the availability is regarding the settings set for the employee.
The face recognition clocking can be done in mode 1: N (identification) or 1:1 (verification). Use 1: N for quick one-step clockings, just look at the device by framing the face inside the green box, and it will search the entire database to see if your face exists.
Use the 1:1 (verification) system when you need greater accuracy and reliability, or the number of stored faces is high. To do this, first press the key and enter your user ID; then proceed as in the previous mode, showing your face; the device will check if the stored face and the entered ID matches the face displayed on the screen at that time.
During the clocking, position your head until your face appears in the center of the screen of the device. Center your face inside the green box.
6.2.4 Tips for good face recognition
During the recording (Enroll) and the Clocking (Verify) try to maintain a relaxed facial expression and upright posture.
When users sign, it is important that they place themselves at the same distance and angle from the device as when they record it.
If the user uses glasses, and there are lights nearby, he may need to tilt
his head slightly to avoid reflection on the glasses.
Adopt a normal, non-forced expression and posture.
Correct and incorrect facial expressions
Common recording (Enroll) and subsequent clocking (Verify) errors are:
7 APPENDIX I: Getting an IP address
If you do not know which IP address you should assign to your device, read the following steps that will help you to obtain one:
On Windows desktop press Start - Run Type cmd and click OK.
1. First find out the IP address range that can be assigned. To do this type the following command as shown in the next screen:
2. Assign to the device an address same as your computers one and change the last of the four digits. In this particular case it should be: 192.168.0.X, where X will be a number (between 1 and 254) that does not match any of the IP addresses assigned to another device within the company's network.
3. Type a command like the one on the screen to see if the new address is taken.
4. See that a response has been returned from the device that already has this address assigned, so you will have to try with another one:
5. In this new case no response has been obtained, which may mean several things:
a. There is no machine on the network with this IP, so you can use it with this device.
b. There is a machine with this same address, but it is turned off at the moment.
c. The machine that may have this IP address assigned does not respond to the "ping"request
If you have any communication issues it may be due to options b or c, since there can not exist two machines with the same IP in the same network. In this case, you must try with a different new address and repeat the steps from the third one.
8 APPENDIX II: Downloading clockings from a USB
If you do not have a connection to the device, you can use a USB stick to download clockings. To record the clockings made on the device on a USB stick:
Connect the USB stick to the devices USB socket, located on the left side of the device; enter to Configuration by typing Menú and then put the device admin users card, code or a face to proceed.
• In the menu that appears, select the Car Des option, different options will be displayed; select Download Records. If the computer detects the USB stick, it will start the clockings recording process.
• If the download is correct, the clockings will have been copied to the USB stick and you can delete them from the device memory to avoid duplicating them on the next download.
• To delete downloaded clockings from device memory, press Exit. 2 times until you see the main screen of configuration options and select the option Ge.Data (Data Management). On the next screen, select the option Delete Clockings. and confirm the deletion of the clocking’s.
• Press Exit. until you see the main screen and remove the USB device.
To transfer the clockings from the USB stick to the program:
• Connect the device to a USB port of the computer you have the PCTIME application installed and run it.
• Go to the normal reading screen by pressing the Read button.
• Select the One Device option, the device to read and then check the option from Dat file.
• Then press the Read button, a window will open to select the file to read. If the selected file does not have the correct name or does not correspond to the selected device a “File error” message will be displayed. The full path should be: "Removable Disk: \ < Terminal No > _attlog.dat”
• Select the file, press Open and check that the clockings have been downloaded.
9 APPENDIX III: CPF-380X terminal user guide
Note: There is a complete manual for the terminal in the Program CD Docs/Hardware. folder.
9.1 Using touch-screen calibration
Touch the screen with your pointer or the tip of your nail, as shown in the figure below. A wide point of contact can cause selection errors.
Touch control
1. Number Input: A numeric keypad appears when the data to be entered is numeric. In the image you can see the user ID input screen as part of the users input procedure; after entering the user ID, press [OK] to save or press [X] to cancel and return to the previous screen.
2. Text Input: A small PC keyboard will appear when the data to be entered is descriptive. In the image you can see the user name input screen as part of the user input process; press the [Name] key. The system will automatically display the text input screen. After entering the username, press [X] to save and return to the previous screen.
3. Modify settings: Press the default value of a setting and the system will automatically change it to another value of this setting.
Calibration
If the touch screen is not sensitive to the touch, you can perform a screen calibration through the following menu operations: Press [Menu] and login as administrator > [Auto Test] > [Calibration] will be shown on the screen together with a cross icon. After correctly touching the center of the cross in five different locations on the screen, the system will automatically return to the Auto Test menu (or wait). Press [Exit] to return to the menu. The dust on the touch screen may also affect its performance; therefore, try to keep the screen clean and dust-free.
9.2 Main Screen
Date: The current date is displayed.
Access to sub-menu: Press this key to display the additional keys; only the one that allows you to enter incidents in the clocking or operation codes (No.Trab.).
Time: The current time is displayed. Supports 12-hour or 24-hour formats.
Presence status: The current presence control status is displayed (not used).
1: 1 Configurable key: Pressing this key changes the verification mode of the clocking, against your ID or between all users. Also used to sign by entering the ID followed by the personal password.
Menu: Pressing this key and clocking after, you will access the main menu (only admin users).
9.3 Adding users
Use this process only if it is not possible to register the user in the PCTIME program and you need to start clocking.
Press the Menú button and access the Main Menu (you must identify yourself as administrator) and press [Add. User]. On the next screen we will see the following buttons:
User. ID: To enter the new users ID code (from 1 to 4 numeric digits).
Name: To enter the user name, maximum of 12 characters.
Card: To enter the proximity card code (from code 1 to 16777215).
Face: To capture the user's face.
Password: To protect the keyboard clocking with a password (from 1 to 6 digits).
Type: Ordinary user or administrator?
Photo: Captures a photo of the user that will be displayed when clocking (not necessary if the face is recorded).
TipVer: To indicate the clocking mode, choose the first option: FACE / RF / PW.
9.4 Date and time setting
1. Press [Menu] on the home screen and identify yourself as an administrator to enter to the main menu screen.
2. Press [Date/Time] from the main menu screen.
3. Select the setting to edit by clicking on its value.
4. Press [Save] to save the current information and return to the previous screen, or press [Exit] to return to the previous screen without saving the modified information.
From this option you can also program the automatic time change of winter-summer (Summer Weather key). Use, if you want to perform automatic switching, mode 1. For more information see the next chapter.
9.5 Automatic clock adjustment
The CPF-380X devices have the possibility to automatically make the two annual clock changes in order to take advantage of the maximum sun hours and save energy.
These changes take place on the last Sunday of March, where at 02:00am in the morning the clock is forwarded one hour passing to show 03:00am, and on the last Sunday of October, where at 03:00am in the morning the clock is delayed one hour passing to show 02:00am.
If you want to configure the automatic switch, you must be physically in front of the device and enter into the configuration menu by pressing ‘MENU’ that allows the access to the menu, and identify yourself; for this you must be a device administrator.
Once you have entered into the device menu, select the Date/Time option and the related configuration settings to the date and time will be displayed. Select the field that indicates WeatherSummer or Summer.Time and set it to Mode1, then select Func Summer time or Config.Time and all the related settings to automatic changes will be displayed, please configure them as below in case they were not:
Start date: 03-DD Month and day in which the clock is forwarded (last Sunday in March)
Start time: 02:00am Time when the clock is forwarded (at 2:00am hours)
End date: 10-DD Month and day the clock is delayed (last Sunday in October)
Final hour: 03:00am Time when the clock is delayed (at 3:00am hours)
Press the Record button before leaving the screen.
Note. You will need to update the DD day information every year, both on Start Date and End Date.
9.6 Adjustment of exposure (contrast) in face capture.
The device will automatically adjust the contrast of the picture based on the environment; however, if the captured picture is poor, you can adjust the exposure settings manually.
If you are an administrator user, tap on the device screen Menu - > System -> Face - > Exposure. By default the parameter is set to 300.
If the captured picture is too BRIGHT, LOWER the exposure settings. If the captured picture is too DARK, INCREASE the exposure settings.
9.7 Outdoor alarm or access control device connection
On the rear of the CPF-380X device you will find a group of 3 strips, numbered in the figure as 3, 4 and 5 of 2, 3 and 6 terminals.
The Alarm relays or access relays give 1 power-free switched output; where NC is the normally closed contact, NOT the normally open contact and COM the common of both. The access relay contacts use terminals 4, 5 and 6 of the power strip number 5 (numbered from left to right).
Characteristics of contacts: Max.voltage: 30V; max. current: 1A max.power: 20W
You can use the 12 VDC output to power the intermediate relay in one alarm connection or an access device, never exceed 1 A charge.
External alarm connection schematics (or access control device).
IMPORTANT: Use the direct connection only if the specified settings are not exceeded; in any other case, or when in doubt, insert a power relay between the device relay and the alarm as shown in option B. In both cases, the alarm and the power relay must be de-wormed, connecting an R-C filter in parallel with the coil (as shown in the diagram).
