I am a translator and a journalist, and am hereby
applying to be part of your translators’ team. I translate from
and into Arabic, French, and English, all fields combined. I have 14 years
of experience in translation.
Here is a glimpse about my career:
I have worked for eight years as a journalist and translator
(from Arabic into English and French) at Lebanon’s State-run news agency. I
have covered news and events around the globe, all the while working as a
freelancer in Lebanon with different UN agencies as a translator, an
interpreter, and a media officer (I was the interpreter of Former UN Secretary
General Ban Ki-moon during his official trip to Lebanon in 2016).
From 2016 until 2021, I was a part-time teacher at the Saint
Joseph University of Beirut. I gave two seminars a year: the first about
writing in the media (press releases and speeches), and the second about
liaison field interpretation with refugees (in resettlement missions).
In 2018 until early 2022, I was the co-owner of a
company providing translation and copywriting services in Beirut. I have
handled all translations and team management from and into Arabic, French, and
English, all creative writing and copywriting, as well as all media writing and
social media accounts.
From 2020 until 2021, I became the youngest media consultant
and head of the media department of the Former Lebanese Prime Minister, Dr.
Hassan Diab.

under any circumstance, with emotional intelligence being my strong tool.
