I started translation well before the mentioned date but cooperated as free-lance translator for newspapers only in 1985. In 1991, I went working at the Translation and Research Center, as tri-lingual translator and editor in Vietnamese-English-French. In 1993, I worked as Micro-Business Management trainer at the International Catholic Migration Commission Program in Vietnam, in 1995, as tri-lingual translator at Russin & Vecchi, an American law firm. In 1998-9, I worked as free-lance translator for the same before joining Lucy Wayne & Associates, a British law firm in 1999 as full time regular translator. Since December, I have been working free-lance from home. |
