I really don't like the new one, also because you always have to call it from the menu, and it's way too complex. The one I mean is the old one, a simple little secondary window showing the progress of a download and you can stopp / pause etc. I remember the last time, I was lucky to find an expert Firefox site that explained the reset process in order to restore it, I had to go deep... See more Hi, with the last update, Firefox has - again - changed the old download manager / status bar. I really don't like the new one, also because you always have to call it from the menu, and it's way too complex. The one I mean is the old one, a simple little secondary window showing the progress of a download and you can stopp / pause etc. I remember the last time, I was lucky to find an expert Firefox site that explained the reset process in order to restore it, I had to go deep into the special settings of Firefox and changed a checkbox (Firefox told "dangerous", but it worked fine). Unfortunately I didn't save that page into my HowTo's, so I'm here today... Thanks very much for pointing me to a solution, Mike ▲ Collapse | | |
