Dear all,

My name is Jan Hinrichs and I am working at openBC translations, a global business networking platform (www.openbc.com).

I really liked this article because it is just what we may expect from our 16 translators and it makes very clear what requirements include a professional website project with all follow-up work.

We update our website simultaneously every week with new tools and texts. In such a process the translation quality depends mainly on the professionalism of our translators. It is surely not a simple task because many times they have to translate resources without context. Therefore, it is highly important that they stay in touch with their work on the website not only for correction but for style and branding issues, too.

We have a long term relationship with our translators so the price level is not so important. To make it simple: We want a good site and happy customers and they a permanent income (apart of using the site as reference - of course).

If you are in a long term relationship between client and provider you should always think in "win-win" terms.

Best regards from Madrid,
Jan Hinrichs
