刚从太极课回来，除了又学了几招能够强身健体的pose外，还学了一个新歇后语，对我来说是新的，估计大家可能已经听过多次了。here it is: 某君与某君是吃冰棍儿拉冰棍儿---没化（话）。
最近美国不只是学中文热，学武术也火着呢。好多中国人在这儿弘扬中国武术呢。

As a freelance translator and without outsourcing practice, no way.
I asked for $36,000 one year ago and was turned down by a company. Now, I made much more than that last year and it seems to be better this year with less work --- I don't outsource as last year now. For this reason, I have less work to do and better income.
The only way to have such income as a translator is to build up a functioning network of equal translators and share resources. (The agencies would hate me for venting the business secrete.)

Well, the average doesn't say anything about the truth. We need a statistic which is stated in distribution figures or a graphic presentation of the tiers.

有啊，这边也一直在下，而且是风雨交加。不过，我倒没心思去理会，因为赶着补课。上星期的 applied econ没去上，结果错过了本学期难度最大的课，前天一查日历才发现下星期是final，今天也顾不上别的了，在家自学回归分析(regression analysis)。还好，这堂课的考试是open notes, open books, open everything，我临时抱佛脚，也能蒙混过关。
