Is Trados currently including spaces in character count?

Hi,

I am currently working on an offer based on a PDF file and wondered whether Trados is including spaces in its character account again. The reason being that the Trados analysis of the PDF is actually rather close to the character count that Word shows after I put the PDF through Abbyy Fine Reader (240.000 vs. 253.000).

Does anyone know?

OK, nevermind. I should have looked at the Trados Help first. It says:


Characters

This count includes all of the characters within the translatable text except for spaces and tags. Placeables are counted.
