My invoices are consecutively numbered, and I issued no. 1323 last week at the end of the month. The first was issued in 2003.
The majority of my invoices are for more than one job, so there are thousands, probably tens of thousands of jobs, but there is no way I am going to count them... although somewhere I have records of most of them.

I voted no idea. Looking at this year, I've issued 45 so far (not got round to sending out my July bills, so later today the figure will jump to 49). But other years, especially the Covid years, have not been as busy, so I can't just multiply that figure to give a total. And while I could just open up my ledgers for the previous years, I can't be bothered just for a Proz poll. I mean, what's the point?

I've been issuing invoices since 1977, not many the first years but gradually increasing in number.
47 last year, today I issued no. 30, so looks like there will be more this year.

On average, 350 per year (for the past 20 years). But some clients require a separate invoice for each separate project and some clients are okay with dozens of projects on a single invoice, so the number of invoices don't really tell the whole story.
I wish the poll title was a bit more descriptive (so that one could decide whether to participate in without having to visit the poll page).
