I have no idea. I would even go so far as to say I don't care.

On a typical day I probably access around a dozen sites or softwares that allow access only after registration and log in, but in most cases I'm barely aware of the log in because I use their 'remember me' option so I don't need to go through the motions of log in every day. I visit Proz most days, but the last time I logged in was almost 3 months ago.

Log fires don't count, Tom!
My father, over 70 years old, says he hates nowadays "contraseñitis" (he coined that word in Spanish, which means something like password disease). He misses the old days when things were less driven by technology. I kind of agree, but I can't really say as I wasn't alive back then.

Here, for a start.
My online dictionaries, magazines and newspapers.
Translator groups and websites.
My e-mail provider...
Several clients have portals with a login, but I do not visit them every day.
Many websites are not work related, and I do not visit the majority very often, but I need them for banking, my travel card, ordering flowers for birthdays...
I have four pages of passwords - on paper, so they can't be hacked!

I have no idea. A lot of them remember me. Just earlier I couldn't get into a website for some info because it required a password and didn't like the one I typed in, but it wasn't for work so does that even count?
I would never click on "remember me" for my bank account, so I've memorised that one, and the website where I declare my earnings never remembers me and tells me I've got the password wrong, then won't allow the very same password when I go through the motions of getting a new o... But honestly, what is the point of keeping track of such stuff? ▲ Collapse
It's so ******* annoying. Especially when having to get a code on your phone. Just who do you expect to be sending in translations on my behalf, paying my bills, etc?
It depends, but what I know is that many times I just don't log in because it's the fifth time I am required yo do so and I just ignore the website. | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Poll: In a day, how many unique sites or software where a log in is required would you say you use?
